Following fierce competition in half a year, the awards ceremony of the 2011 “Hubei Outstanding Young Entrepreneurs” selection event jointly organized by the Provincial Young Entrepreneur Association and Hubei Daily was held at Chutian Media Building on the evening of Oct. 23. Jiang Daguo, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress; Duan Lunyi, Deputy Governor of the provincial government; and Tu Yong, Vice Chairman of the provincial committee of the CPPCC, and others attended the awards ceremony and presented awards to award-winning entrepreneurs. Dr. Liu Rong, the President of HC Semitek, was awarded the title of “Top Ten Outstanding Young Entrepreneurs in Hubei Province”.
The Hubei Provincial Outstanding Young Entrepreneurs selection event, jointly organized by Hubei Daily and Hubei Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association, aims to select and promote outstanding young models in entrepreneurship and build an atmosphere that cares for, supports and promotes the development of youth entrepreneurs. Since the selection event kicked off in May, it was well received in society, and over 700 young entrepreneurs submitted application materials. Leaders from relevant provincial departments and over 40 authoritative figures in the economic, academic, and media circles evaluated the candidates.
